Music for the Ceremony
Prelude
Music for guest seating begins 20-30 minutes before the ceremony
and consists of 6-10 pieces.
Processional
This piece accompanies everyone who approaches the altar before the bride:
Mothers, groom, officiant, groomsmen, bridesmaids, ring bearer and flower girl.
Bridal March
For the bride's entrance and procession. Here, the most important piece of the ceremony can either be dignified and majestic, or quiet and restrained.
Musical Interlude/ Candle Lighting
A quiet, unobtrusive piece works well during moments of reflection.
Recessional
Immediately following the announcement of the couple, this piece is traditionally joyful and upbeat. Music can continue for an additional 1- 2 pieces as guests exit.

More Information
Dates are secured upon receipt of a signed contract and $50 deposit. Balances are due 15 business days in advance of the event.
All collaboration is done conveniently over the phone, through email, and by referencing this website.
Parking and applicable parking fees/validation must be provided. The harp will need to be safely unloaded in a designated zone and attended by me at all times. Timed, metered, zoned street parking, or offsite garages for downtown locations cannot be accepted as parking options. I am a one-person operation-- I will not be able to stop music during the event and leave the harp to attend to my vehicle.
Requests for music not listed above or on my MUSIC page will be honored if a legal edition of the song(s) arranged for harp can be obtained.
Requests must be made at least 20 days in advance of the event. Up to 2 special requests are complimentary.
Full length recordings are not available at this time.
Amplification: I am an acoustic musician and do not provide amplification. If you have concerns based on the anticipated volume level of guests and/or acoustic qualities of the setting, I am happy to set up the harp with amplification provided by a dj or the venue.
Keep in mind that: (1) the harp is capable of cutting through an entire symphony orchestra without being overpowering; (2) the natural sound of the instrument is compromised by amplification; (3) voices tend to get louder as music levels rise.
I arrive at all weddings approximately one hour before Prelude music begins to move the harp into place and tune.
I am available during that time to speak with the wedding coordinator, officiant, or other designated person in charge of the processions.
Attendance at rehearsals is not included in ceremony services.
